Sweet, roasty and always invigorating, traditional Latin American cafe con leche coffee can be found nearly everywhere in our hometown of Tampa, Florida and serves as the inspiration for our Cafe Con Leche Sweet Stout. The beer is made with bold, strong coffee beans to emulate the most characterful Cuban espresso and lactose, a milk sugar that adds sweetness, body and flavors reminiscent of scalded milk. We've also added cacao nibs to further enhance the satisfying chocolate quality of the beer. Despite it's assertive flavors and full body, our sweet stout is deceptively low in alcohol, making it the perfect accompaniment to a late-morning plate of eggs, bacon and tostadas.

Bottle. Black body with a nice, dense, beige head. Lovely aroma of strong, good coffee, chocolate and some roast. Flavor is quite sweet, but very pleasant roasted coffee, dark chocolate and milk chocolate with balanced bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Not very complex really, but sometimes complexity is overrated when a coffee stout can taste this great with mainly just coffee and chocolate flavor.

0.66l bottle. Pitch black money with a thin light brown head. The aroma starts with a huge tobacco note (Cigar City, now I get the name). It also has notes of chocolate, nutmeg, cinnamon, coffee and caramel. The taste shows exactly what you expect based on the aroma. Very nice.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 5 March 2019) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, vanilla and dark chocolate. Lots of fresh coffee. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, blueberries and a balanced coffee bitterness. Medium body, with a certain lactose sweetness. Really tasty and well balanced with lots of fresh coffee. Excellent beer.

Draught @ Man in the Moon. Aroma is unusual with cofdee, milk choxolate and tobacco. Flavour has milk chocolate, coffee and ash. Surprisingly straightforward.
