An american pale ale hopped with Columbus & Cascade. Careful amounts of caramel malt gives it a nice balanced maltiness.

Flaske 0,33l fra Vinmonopolet, Tromsø Langnes. Drukket i heimen 1 Des 13 til spekemat og ost. Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt luftig skum som varer. Behagelig søt fruktaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken passe søt frukt med hint av malt. Greit matøl.

(Keg at Stones, 20140217) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized, dense and white. Aroma had fruitiness, citricness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, pine, grass, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. A nice balanced pale ale but there was some mustiness in the background which cut the overall score.

On tap at Nærbø Ølfestival 2013. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a dense, creamy, off-white head leaving some lacings. Hoppy nose with little malts. Peaches, pineapple and orange peel. Quite bitter flavor with peaches and pineapple, orange peel and a faint malty touch. Medium to full body, with a lasting fruity and bitter finish. A quite tasteful and moreish one. 131019

Medium beige head. Clear beautiful deep brown body. Fruity wooden resiny aroma with meaty notes. Dryish resiny fruity taste with perfumy cocos notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish perfumy cocos aftertaste with wild berry and wood notes. A bit unusual, somewhat understated, but ultimately not that successful. (0.33l bottle, wine monopoly web order.)

Murky-brown-amber color, small off-white head. Pine needles, "fermentation gases" in the nose. Medium-bodied. Piney, sweetish ("unfermented sugars"?), some lingering "fresh" hoppyness. Tasted a bit unfinished and needs to be rerated.
