Thanks to the brewer who send it (on his own initiative) all the way from Portugal so that we could try it + Beerlover_Ben.330 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG IV. Hazy golden, little white head. Nose is green hops, lavender, eucalyptus, air refresher bitter with a light crystal-like touch caramel malt sweetness. Taste is green hops, eucalyptus, mint, lemon, floral grass, some sweetish white sugar-like qualities, dough, mint bitter finish. Higher carbonation. Interesting but not king of the hill. Very imperessive for Portugal which I believe has no specialty beer tradition.

14/II/15 - 33cl bottle @ RBBWG IV (Beerlover_Ben's place) - BB: X/2015 (2015-186) Thanks to the brewer for donating the bottles for this tasting!

Clear orange beer, creamy irregular off-white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: nice exotic fruits, bit sweet, caramel, malty, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: some citrus, very fruity, passion fruits, pineapple, some mango. Aftertaste: piny, pineapple, citrus, mango, fruity, bit resinous. Nice one!

Bottle @ RBBWG 2015 shared by the brewer! Wow, very generous as he couldn’t attend the tasting himself. Slightly unclear orange color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma suspects that it is too young still. It really tastes like it’s not yet at its best. Still, it’s nicely hoppy but very grassy. Taste lightly malts, nicely hoppy, nicely grassy and bitter. Not bad at all.

Bottle split at the Cotteridge Convention, thanks to Scopester and the brewer Andre, 24/01/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is pine, bitter citric rind, orange pith, soft grapefruit. Taste comprises earthy hops, mineral rinse, pine needle, orange pith, bitter citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hoppy wash in the close. Decent enough fayre.

24th Jan 2015: Shared bottle at Cotteridge Wine meet, cheers Scopey for this and the other bottle from these guys. Good clear, golden pour with an off white head. Citrus nose and leaning towards sourness (lemon style), the taste also citrus but sweeter with only a hint of lemons towards the finish: nice fruity IPA, most likely the best beer I have had from Portugal. The Passarola Double Oatmeal Stout, which was next was pretty good too!

Bottle share. Cotteridge Beano. Clear gold. Thin, white head. Pretty juicy hop. Some lemon. Vibrant. Light dry. Light bitter. Tasty gear, and a huge relief from the muck that had preceded it!

Bottle share warm up at Craft Clerkenwell. Thanks to Scopey. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Decent fine carbonation. Light airy malts support decent hops - spicy, mild marmalade, little fresh orange and a touch of tropical fruits. Light semi dry finish with a hop spice linger and the bitterness ramping up. Decent IPA.
