Keg at Ratebeer Best Beer Festival. 31/01/2016. A reddy /brown/ onion coloured pour. Aroma i start raspberry, spicy vinegary, forest fruits. Flavour is composed of brown bready malts, tart fresh raspberry, blackberry. Palate is citric acid, highish carbonation, tangy finish.

Draft at RB Best Fest 16: Poured a maroon with off white head. Aroma is sour tart fruit. Taste is acidic tart fruit, some soft malts that keep it from being one dimensional.

Keg at RB Best, 31/01/16. Reddish amber with a decent beige cap. Nose is tarte berry fruit, funk, brett ping, light must, red berry drizzle. Taste comprises tarte red berry sherbets, damp straw, funk, soured raspberries. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light acidic pinch in the close. Decent sour.

Pour at ratebeer festival. pours out a amber color topped with a small head. nose is big raspberry jam sweetness some wood and a tartness. taste is more of the heavy raspberries a nice pucker tartness with the sweet jam.

[1/31/16] Draught sample at RateBeer Best festival in Santa Rosa. Dark reddish brown. Tons of jammy berries, lacto, some caramel, wood.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Tart aroma with raspberry and oak. Raspberry and sour flavor with oak and light darker malts. Medium bodied. Sourness and raspberry lingers with light darker malts.

Bottle shared downtown during RBWG 2014 - Asheville Late-Nite. Cheers! Pours clear amber with a bubbly white head. Nice tangy berry nose, with hits of funk and raspberry. Bracingly sour, with very tart berries, light leather, plenty of acidic twang. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sour, puckering finish, with further tart berry character. Good one.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a glass. Clear medium brown with no head. Aroma is sour raspberry, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is tart raspberry and earthy finish.

Bottle thanks to George. Pours a cloudy brown with small frothy off white head that lasts. The aroma is raspberry, grapes, and wood. Thin mouth with nice sourness, raspberry, light oak, funk, light dry finish, very nice.

Bottle, 2012. Pours crystal clear ruby chestnut, small fizzy tan head, bubbly and quick to dissipate, some lacing. Aroma is oak, cherries, raspberries, stems, funk, basement aromas. Flavor is medium plus tart, lightly funky, oaky, vinous, cherries and raspberries. A bit acetic. Medium body, low carbonation. Nice.
