On tap at the World Craft Tasting 2013. A cloudy orange-gold color with a fairly average fruity aroma but a touch too grainy. A nice full body with a fruity & somewhat grainy flavor. An average beer.

Draught at the brewpub
Golden color, with creamy head. It has a pleasant aroma and flavor, quite good malt and delicate hops; some toffee flavor; the mouthfeel is smooth; and it has a quite high drinkability; relatively strong bitterness.
Pleasant.

22oz bomber pours clear dull dark gold with near white head and some sticky lacing. The aroma is well, alright, I’m actually not in the mood for butter – diacetyl right now. Behind that are milder notes of caramel and vague spicy tart like hops. The taste sadly is the same but the hops come across with some grapefruit like citrus notes and spicy hops. Hmm. Something a bit amiss here.

Hazy gold body under a good sized white head. Aroma of citrus hops and light malt. The flavor is well balanced delivered by a spritzy palate with a bit of carbonic acid in the finish.

Slightly hazy copper coloured body with a honey glow and a super thick, eight centimetre tall off-white head - crazy large with a hazy glow in the body. Aroma of pale malt, light sugars, coriander seed and a bit of dry hay and grass. Medium-bodied; Grassy, yeastie, barnyardie flavour at first with a lot of malt, some light saisony notes and a dry hop flavour at the end. Aftertaste shows some good complexity with nothing harsh at all - good flavours, some dry, some spicey and some showing alcohol. Overall, a decent beer - not exactly sure what style this is really trying to be, but it goes down relatively easy and has some great flavours to boot. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 09-November-2011 for US$4.99 sampled at home in Washington on 17-February-2012.

Extra buttery butterscotch nose. Clear amber, medium head, good lacing. Flavor is still buttery, but to a lesser extent and with hay notes. Not sure what the point is with this beer, unless the brewer is trying to popularize a new style: Imperial Diacetyl Ale

22oz bottle. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a pretty large white head. Aroma is sweet fruit notes, touch of yeast, mild hops. Flavor is okay, but something seems like it is "missing" in this one.
