Bottle from LDW, Eke. Dark brown colour, lots of creamy foam. Light caramel notes, bitter hops, bit metallic. Medium carbonation. Bit messy, nothing special.

Bottle from Dranken Vandewoude and drunk at home. Dark brown black beer lasting tan head. Aroma of rich malt. Smells sweet. Some roast. Some soy sauce. Look it’s not for me. Too sweet too burnt too soy sauce some salt almost. Yeah just not a great dubbel for my palate.

F: medium size, tanned, average to good retention. C: dark brown, opaque. A: malt, dried fruits, cherries, hint of chocolate, banana, yeast, floral. T: malt, chocolate, light caramel, light cherries, banana, quite sweet fruity dubbel, medium body, medium carbonation, good enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Spar supermarket in Oostende.

Bottled, at Belgobaren, Stockholm. Hazy mahogany colout, small head. Milky tart lingonberry aroma. Dry with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Bready and tart. Some figs. Mid bitter finish.

Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramelized malt, light chocolate, moderate yeasty, sweet yeast, candy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, caramelized malt, brown sugar, sweet yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160625]
