Bottle from Beerwulf. As BRWN. Aroma is brown malt, caramel, spicy yeast, brown sugar, notes of dried fruits and a hint of cocoa. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Falls a bit flat.

Sucre de canne, herbes (lesquelles ?), 7 %,21 d'EBU et un houblonnage en Challenger, Goldings, Pilgrims, voici le programme de cette Jessenhofke brune qui n'aura pas réussi à me passionner avec un manque de tonus et de profondeur mais également très mal servie par une effervescence trop soutenue. Le visuel est plutôt sympathique avec un brun limpide, une fine effervescence ainsi qu'une mousse brune de 3 mm. Le nez est sur la noisette, le chocolat, le caramel et le thym. Si le cocktail n'est pas désagréable, sans être pour autant passionnant, celui-ci manque d'intensité et de vivacité. On retrouve ces 2 mêmes lacunes à la dégustation. L'attaque a également une petite pointe de vinaigre pas top en complément des arômes présents au nez. La deuxième bouche a vraiment du mal à se stabiliser ave cette effervescence perturbante. Des arômes de sucre de canne apparaissent alors. L’arrière-bouche est globalement linéaire alors que le final, plu sur l'amertume n'est pas d'un grand intérêt. Passable.

A bit of a lacto sour twist, it's not bad, but not extraordinarily clean either. It is caramaly, ruby brown nutty, and a tiny bit muddled. Big flavour for only 7%. online beerwulf

Bottle. Brown color. Caramel in the aroma. Caramelly sweet flavor, nutty. Some cola and chichory notes. Disappointing.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy and moderate yeasty aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Flasche in einem Burgerladen in Brüssel. Farbe und Schaum bräunlich, trüb. Aroma: Karamell, Hefe, Trockenfrüchte, Schokolade. Geschmack: Malz, Karamell, Nuss, Trockenfrüchte. Spritziger Antrunk.

Thuis uit een flesje. Troebel, bruin van kleur, niet heel mooi. Wel goed lichtbruin schuim. Smaak wat vlak, aardig.

Sample, dark brown, small head. Aroma is malt, caramel, dried fruit, coffee. Taste same. Sweet with some bitter. Ok beer.
