Can 330ml @ Bishops Arm - Göteborg Plaza. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, brown sugar, alcohol, nutty and hint of marzipan. Taste is heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, chocolate, cocoa, brown sugar, nutty and molasses finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

Can at Bishops Arms Plaza Göteborg. It's almost black in the glass, with a few beige bubbles. Roasted malts, oats, peanuts, coffee grit and burnt malts. Licorice and sweetness, hints of alcohol. It's full bodied and lightly warming, sweet, but not sticky. Softly carbonated. Roasted malts, coffee, peanut, some dark chocolate and oats in the flavor. Toffee, molasses. Lasting finish. A bit sweet, but sure nice. 240725

Canned. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is rum raisin, some tiramisu like elements, nuts and some liquorice. Flavour is liquorice, rum raisins, tiramisu and mild toffee tones. Sweetish, but still nice.

Can from Deconinck. Cloudy black, very thin beige head. Aroma of almond, amaretto, honey, syrup, chocolate praliné, nougat, caramel, date. Taste has very sweet dates, syrup & caramel, nutty & chocolatey accent, pistachio mostly, bit powdery bitter. Malty finish, some herbal hops, chocolate, mocha & almond lingering with warming amaretto-like alcohol. Full body, thin syrupy texture, soft carbonation. Very enjoyable, but the Stout profile only offers the framework for the baklava goal.

Het staat niet tussen de ingrediënten maar het zou me niet verbazen als hier een lading amandelextract oid in zit. Ongebalanceerde amaretto stout. Hier is niks "pure & craft" aan Kees.

Suikerzoete meuk. Als Kees zo tegen kindersmaakjes is, waarom maakt hij het dan? Ga aub weer de moddervette stouts maken die je vroeger maakte!
