Rechtstreeks uit blik tijdens een avondwandeling. Zoet, zeer veel lactose, weinig ‘Irish’, beetje koffie maar ook minder dan verwacht, hint van chocolade. Medium body op zn best. Mwah, geen topper dit.

21/V/20 - 33cl can from Bierhalle Deconinck (Vichte), shared @ home, BB: 30/I/25, canned: 30/I/20 (2020-432)
Clear deep dark reddish brown beer, big beige fizzy crackling head, falls down quickly, non adhesive. Aroma: caramel, green coffee, slightly soky, very roasted, bit malty, grains, some cow fodder. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body, smooth creamy texture. Taste: bit sweet up front, caramel notes, alcohol, some dark chocolate, more alcohol. Aftertaste: pretty sweet, soft acidity keeping a good balance in the beer, very drinkable, some more alcohol, caramel, not much coffee though.

Black with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of vanilla and coffee. Quite sweet. Thick texture.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Smooth and slightly soft palate, modest fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, a semi sweet dark chocolate vibe with a light Irish cream twist. Some earthy espresso on the fairly light finish. Tidy but not quite sweet enough for pastry and too sweet for a normal coffee stout.

Zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is warm en zoet met duidelijk koffie en vanille. Verder erg romig, voor mij een echt geweldig bier.

Can. Dark brown color. Coffee, roast and oak in the aroma, malty sweet caramelly flavor with cappuccino and a hint of oak and whisky in the hardly noticeable, that whisky. Warming but quite drinkable, low on carbon,

Can. Dark brown pour. Aroma of milk chocolate, cold coffee, malt, licorice and caramel. Taste has lots of old filter coffee, sweet sugary vanilla, licorice, malt and caramel. Quite artificial and with too much lactose present. I don't like it.
