Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of fruit, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and fruits, leading to a dry finish.

At De Kalvarieberg, Bruges. Pours clear pale golden with a small, frothy, off-white head; some lacing. Some iron in the smell. The aroma contains unripe fruits (orange, banana), malt, yeast, dough and herbs. It tastes medium fruity sweet, light herbal bitter, with a yeasty finish. Medium/light body, slick texture, slightly cloying and dry, fizzy carbonation. Decent but I won’t remember it.

Bottle from Deca at Woesten, West Flanders, Belgium, consumed at home on Pond Building Pt2 Weekend, indoors now cooking a. Chilli from the Thomasina Miers, Mexican Cookbook, Bank Holiday Monday 1st May 2017 Pours very light gold, in fact it is straw coloured with a spritzy looking pillow of foam. A light lemon and has a slightly soda taste, refreshing, perhaps a thin but I quite like it. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2014. 330 ml. bottle. Hazy orange, little head. Sweet dough, sugar & yeast nose. Tases of sweet, toffee, brown sugar, cereal, yeast,… Muddled taste that goes not far beyond brown sugar sweetness & a spoonful of yeast. Yeasty body. Another BE just like so many others that tries to get along by plastering a story on the beer & some nonsense about being local & original etc. with aims of using those to sell the beer & not the taste.

Clear light orange beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: sweet and fruity, lots of banana, bit sugary, sweet malts, grains, touch of hay. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: citric start, little fruity, some sweet peaches, sour pineapple, nice bitterness from the hops. Aftertaste: lots of citrus, pretty bitter, fruity, grassy hops, bit sugary, some ripe banana, sweet malty touch and honey.
