Pure malt ale, brewed with 100% barley malt. Anais has an important aromatic profile, smoked notes, intense taste, dry, slightly bitter and with a caramel and hazelnut aftertaste due to the use of special malts. Its head is compact, creamy and adherent foam. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, top-fermented and second fermentation in the bottle. 17 EBC.

Probably an alias of Birra Flea Anais, now simply called Smoked (?). 33cl fles van Carrefour of Iperal Porlezza. Troebel goudoranje kleur, witte kraag. Zoet, moutig, licht gerookt, degelijk bitter, licht fruitig, appel. Lichte tot medium body. Degelijk blond Rauchbier.

33cl bottle from Selver, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Mild malty aroma with notes of caramel and nuts, some discreet smoky notes too. Surprisingly mild in flavour, but quite drinkable.

Õlle on selline jook, et iga uus kord kui klaasi või pudeli suule tõstad, siis leiad midagi uut, sõltuvalt tuhandest-miljonist pisiasjast, mis hetke olukorda mõjutavad. Seega piirdun iga õlle juures selle tekstiga.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of smoke, fruit, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of smoke, caramel, fruit, and malt, leading to a dry smokey finish.

Vi nærmer oss målsnora på Mi2 denne februarkvelden, og får nå den syvende i en serie på 10 ulike flaskeøl fra et (for oss nytt) italiensk bryggeri, alt på elegante 0,33 flasker. Godt gjort at vi fortsatt har humøret i behold, da det flere ganger viste seg at i enkelte av tilfellene var designet det eneste å glede seg over, og vi lurer på hva som er vitsen med å importere lavkvalitetsøl langveis fra når der finnes så mye spennende, velsmakende (og kompetent brygget) fra Skandinavia. Nesten helt klr gylden med ok skum. Pølsevatn på flaske var en av de første spontankommentarene. Brente printkort sier skibsrederen. Litt karamell og lynghonning i tillegg. Tulleøl, sa skogsmatrosen. Lite miljøvennlig.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 03.02.20. Cloudy hay colour. Just a little hint of half-burnt print cards. Fruity taste of burnt print cards and bananas.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma of smoke, floral notes. Tastes sweet with little bitterness. Medium bodied.

330 ml bottle, as Birra Flea Anais Smoked, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.4%. Cloudy orange to brown colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of smoked malts, smoked meat and sausages, distinct but not extreme. The flavour is malty with distinct notes of smoked meat / sausages throughout. Moderate hops.
