A 330ml bottle, happy to see these back in stock in restaurants in Jersey. A excellent pale ale. Originally I remember buying all 4 of this range of beers from a bar display close to Exeter cathedral in 2014. Drank in my home on 22/08/14 as different bottle of beer No. 761

Bottle. An actually good pale ale. Clear golden color with an nice two finger head. Very well balanced in both aroma and taste.

NOTE: They seemed to have dropped "Icelandic" from the name. Both the beer can that I got, and their website, just show the name as "Arctic Pale Ale".

AROMA: Moderately sweet with moderate scents of malt and caramel, followed by a hints of pine and citrus.

APPEARANCE: Pours a hazy, medium color, with a tall, 3-finger, tight-frothed, off-white head that dissipates slowly, with very good lacing.

TASTE: Moderately bitter with flavors of pine, malt, and grapefruit, and then just a hint of caramel towards the end. The finish is all pine flavor and fairly bitter. For me, the bitterness level just doesn't match well with the sweetness level of the aroma.

MOUTHFEEL: Medium-bodied and a little tacky on the tongue. Carbonation is average.

OVERALL: I've enjoyed most of the other beers that I've tried from this brewer, but this is not one of my favorites. Mostly because there is nothing that makes this beer memorable over all the other pale ales out there. That doesn't mean that this is a poorly crafted beer (quite the contrary). It just means that I won't remember it, nor would I be able to pick it out of a lineup of other beers in its category.

Can from Hopt. Aroma is light toasted crystal malt with some caramel, candied fruits, some orange. Sweetish flavour with a mild bitterness. Body is medium. A bit dull and on the sweet side.

Аромат хороший. Много хорошего европеского хмеля с нотками вырывающемся каскадом, при этом весьма много солода, причем снова европейского, как будто чешский. Цвет обычный, золотистый, слегка мутный. Вкус сразу очень горчит. Причем чем дольше ждешь после глотка, тем дальше горечь уходит из твоего рта. Послевкусие, как ни странно и хмелевое и солодовое. В прицепи пить можно, хотя слишком горьковато для меня.

Klar mørk golden med boblete offwhite topp som blir liggende rundt kanten. Aroma; malt, gjær, karamell, humle, mose. Smak; Karamell, malt, hint av sirup, lime, humle. Balansert, middels fyldig. Svak men lang ettersmak.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, grasig hopfig, fruchtig mit Citrus. Mittlere Süße mit hoher Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
