24/8/2020. Sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours dark mahogany brown with a nice size beige head. Aroma of chocolate, biscuit, nut, vanilla, light roasting. Medium to heavy sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Sweet, creamy, wafer finish. Liked this.

Can: Poured a deep black with a finger tan head. Aroma is huge hazelnut and chocolate, vanilla, rich malts. Taste is huge vanilla, hazelnut, light milk chocolate, malty.

Can from A Hoppy Place, Windsor. Aroma is definitely Bueno-esque. Hazelnuts and vanilla with dark chocolate. Darkest brown. Creamy beige head thins on top. There's a bitterness throught that had a dark berry to it. However the vanilla and nuts then come through. Light-medium bodied. Creamy. A slight prickle of carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable stuff. There's just something missing - perhaps could be thicker and creamier for the full effect.

440ml can. Very dark brown, tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, hazelnuts, vanilla. Taste is sweet, milk chocolate, creamy vanilla/lactose, hazelnut. Medium bodied. Very nice milk stout, quite rich for the abv. Nailed the Kinder Bueno flavours.

Can at CBC, Covent Garden on 16th February 2020. Deep sepia with tan foam and spot lacing. Intense buttery creamy chocolate aroma with vanilla. Creamy chocolate in-mouth with cherries and raisins. Lush butterscotch finish. Silky smooth texture and plenty of body.

Clear dark brown to black beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots and lots of coffee, hazelnut powder, mocha, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sourish, little bitter, mocha, lots of chocolate, sweetish, some hazelnuts. Aftertaste: sugary, lactose, bit sweetish, metallic touch, little sourish, some coffee.

Third, beer flight, from tap, freshly made at UnBarred Brewery & Taproom. Shared with Finn. A bubbly fawn-coloured head leaving dotted spots on the glass. Almost black in the glass. Toasted malts on the nose, dry. Blended taste profile of grainy chocolate, dark fruits and roasted coffee bitterness towards the ending. Fine bodied. Pleasing. (Brighton 17.10.2019).
