Bottled. Hazy deep orange colour with a mediumsized beige head, that stays for a bit and leaves lace. Aroma is a bunch of fruity hops, mild herbal tones wih some slight sweet malts. Flavour is zesty, some spruce, citrus and also some lemongrassy elements.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Nøgne Mandarina IPA ].Clear medium to dark orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, orange - citrus, mandarin. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry, hoppy, orange, fruity hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140517]

Bouteille 50cl, bact #1079, BB 20-11-2015. Ambrée, col fin blanc-cassé. Arôme est fruité avec pas mal de résineux voire sève, rétro tirant sur les grains concassés. En rétro-nasal, je note un léger bouquet fruité et herbacé. Palais est aussi centré sur le résineux, sorte de céréales et un malté pâle, caramel. Le tout sur un houblonné rappelant un peu le Cascade ponctué d’une touche de mandarine. Le palais garde des notes de levure qui enlève un peu de ce côté houblonné. Une version qui aurait peut-être été meilleure en version blonde? Pas mauvaise mais je m’attendais à qcq chose de plus convainquant surtout sur la base de cette bière.

Bottle, Ship in a Bottle, West Kirby. Murky orange pour with a small off white head. Earthy hop, grapefruit and caramel in the nose. A similar yarn in the sweetish flavour with some good fruity hop. Smooth drinking and does the ABV well. Didn’t get too much mandarin but enjoyed this.

0.5L bottle at home, dark orange beer with a medium head, aroma is citrus, many fruits. Taste is citrus, fruits, bitter. Very Nice

Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2014. Small, spare creamy bubble head, hazy orange brownish amber. Nose is thick bitter raisin with some cookie, caramel, cereal toffee bitterness. Taste is brief toffee, allspice, caramel, cookie leading into strong pine resin bitterness, touch herbal & strong orange peel bitterness. Full touch malty body. Bit empty outside of strong pine resin & orange peel bitterness. Bit one dimensional but not bad for sure.

Small, rather stable cream head over fully hazy, yeast-laden orangeish brown beer. Yeast, bread, little else... bit salty/mineral. Bitter, hoppy, citrus if not especially mandarines. Still quite some maltpresence, if certainly not sweet. Quite slick, liquid yest. Long, if mild bitter aftertaste. Not so very special. As to mandarines, Kjetil go taste the Alpine beers again...
