Bottle, 8%. Tart aroma, sweet and fruity. Almost clear dark brown colour. Small stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is sweet and spicy, has some cookie, a hint of metal. The finish is quite roasted and even more spicy. Nice and flavourful and without any big flaws.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, opaque brown colour with a beige medium-sized foamy head. Yeasty, dark malty and berry-fruity aroma with hints of caramel and strong notes of cinnamon and other x-mas spices. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a modest carbonation. Dark malty base with notes of dried fruits, caramel, chocolate and a strong spicy touch; moderately sweet malty and mildly fruity finish, again with loads of spices, but a well-covered alcohol. A tad too spicy for my liking, but it might work as a simple Christmas brew. 8.I.13

Bottle. A super-gusher, producing an unclear, brown body and a small, beige head. Ginger, cloves and some lemon on the nose. The flavor is very spiced, with caramel sweetness as a foundation. Medium body, with surprisingly pleasant carbonation, at least considering its gushing. Well, a decent beer it is, but it lacks on balance. There’s too much spices compared to body and sweetness, but as you see from my score, I like it anyway. 110610

Dark red-brown colour with thick, creamy head. Aroma is malty, yeasty and a bit spicy. Very rich and silky texture. Some fruitiness, especially cherry, comes through in the flavour. Sweet and syrupy on the lips.

Bottled. Quite a gusher. Ambery brown colour with a mediumsized foamy beigeish head. Aroma is raisins, alcohol, spices and some mild notes of honey and some sweet maltyness. Flavour is being quite much the same in a very pleasant balance.
