This is a superbly refreshing, straw coloured beer. English Pale malts combined with Challenger and Goldings hops provide a slight bitterness, followed by a distinct zesty and pithy grapefruit aroma that leads to a pleasing citrus flavour in the mouth.

0,5 flaske fra datohylla hos Vaaland 1889: klar gylden med fint skum som varer lenge. Frisk og spretten citrusparade i en behagelig maltkropp. Fin bitterhet i avslutningen.

Cask at Ealing Beer Fest 25. Light slightly opaque gold. Th8n frothy white head. Aroma has citrus sourness and bready malts. Flavourwise it has watery citrus sournwss. Bready malts. A drizzle if veg soup. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Boring Gold.not rescued by the citrus elements.

500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.7%. Clear golden colour, large white head. Moderate aroma of earthy and citric hops. Flavour of lemon, lime and grapefruit, also some earthy notes, medium bitter finish.

Gylden. Middels høyt skum som blir film. Litt lacing. Aroma av malt & grapefrukt. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken klementiner & aprikos. Tørr, forsiktig bitter avslutning.

500ml stylish bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg in Bodø. Clear orange coloured body, bubbles on the surface, crocheted lacing. Promising floral fruity nose, mid-dry. Citrus-forward taste, hints of lemon and grapefruit, together with a touch of biscuit. Mid-dry bitter ending notes, soft carbonated. Pretty nice. (Bodø Panorama 04.12.2021).

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a coppery orange with a white head. Aroma is zesty citrus, grapefruit, malts. Taste is citrusy, grapefruit, little astringent, grain in the finish.

500ml bottle. Clear, orangey, bright golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Citrusy, slightly floral, grassy, hoppy aroma, biscuity pale malty, minimally grainy background, notes of lemon, lemon drops, lemongrass, a touch of grapefruit. Taste is citrusy fruity, minimally floral and grassy, hoppy, biscuity, pale malty, notes of lemon, lemon drops, a touch of lemongrass, minimally diluted hints of grapefruit, grapefruit peel. Watery texture, smooth, minimally dry palate, medium, midly prickly carbonation. Light, refreshing - nice summer beer.
