Premda nosi naziv pale, pouzdano znamo da jedinstveni okus ovog piva ne blijedi lako.
Kombinacijom četiriju sorti hmelja iz Novog svijeta dobili smo osvježavajuće mirise manga i citrusa karakteristične za ovo pivo punog tijela i ugodne gorčine.

Die 2014 gegründete Zmajska-Brauerei mit dem grinsenden Drachenlogo aus Zagreb schreibt auf ihrer Flasche, dass sie die erste Craftbier-Brauerei Kroatiens sei. Ob das wirklich stimmt, habe ich noch nicht herausgefunden, aber ich kann mir denken, dass auch andere diesen Titel für sich beanspruchen werden. Auf der homepage findet sich nur dieses eine Bier. Dieses wurde mit 4 Sorten Hopfen gebraut, die lt. Etikett einen guten Mango- und Zitrus-Geschmack geben. Diesen kann ich bestätigen, will aber anmerken, dass die Aromen ruhig stärker hervortreten könnten. Alles in allem aber ein gelungenes, vielleicht ein bisschen zu braves, Bier.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, amber colour with a blonde and short foamy layer. Fresh hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit, as well as mildly resiny accents, baked by notes of caramel bread and black tea. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Dry and delicately cara-malty base with notes of black tea and present fruity and resiny hops; dry and moderately bitter finish with notes of grapefruit and a slightly exotic touch. Rock-solid APA. 30.IX.16

[ As Zmajska Pivovara Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, carmael. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160709] 5-3-6-3-12

0,33 flaske, hjemme: klar gylden med ok skum. Floral aroma og smak som minner mer om en esb enn en am. pale ale - karamell, urter, appelsinmarmelade og litt honning. For lite citrus og tropiske frukter til å overbevise som en apa. Slank munnfølelse, behagelig bitterhet med litt gress i ettersmaken. Forgettable.

Bottle during Dubrovnik vacation this summer. Pours slightly hazy orange with white head. Aroma of citrus with grapefruity and zesty notes, some light grain and hay. Slightly resinous taste with grapefruit zest. Light bitterness with a mid-bitter finish. Overall pretty good, but this wasn’t the freshest bottle.

Bottle shared by Joeren86. Clear orange golden color, small off-white head. Smell and taste malts, nicely fruity, fruit hops, lightly bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Not bad.
