750 ml. bottle sampled @ “Tim needs to get rid of his ticks” Tasting. Enjoyed together with tderoeck, Benzai & Alengrin. Hazy peach orange, little white head. Sweet ripe fruits peach, fermenting with too much yeast & esters. Overly yeasty beer with thick rotting apricots, sweet, light bitter mold in the back. Yeasty body. Your usual overly yeasty BE brew @ an inflated price point, this is exclusively marketing and not brewing.

Sampled from bottle (thanks to 77ships) @ Tim needs to get rid of his ticks tasting. Hazy yellow orange color, full sized a bit rough white head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is malts, a hint of hops, some bitterness, yeast and a hint of pear. A bit weird but not bad.

Apparently I was unlucky enough to get two bottles of Kamil Greenstone that had almost expired, and that received a label of the Carolus Magnus beer as the brewer ran out of original Carolus Magnus bottles for the event at Karel de Grote Hogeschool in Antwerp.
Slightly cloudy orange to amber beer, solid creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: green apples, sourish impression, spicy, infected? Very oxidized, bit fruity. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, some caramel malts, oxidized, sweet touch, some apples and pears, malty, more oxidation going on. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, bit sourish, very bitter, dry, very oxidized, apple skin, more bitterness.
