300ml bottle from Covenhoven. Pint glass. Mood: Jolly. A faintly pale straw, nearly clear gray body. Smell is of watered down apple juice & corn. Watery, diluted, thin, champagne yeast, bubblegum, very faint bittersweet aftertaste. Crisp. Empty & lacking.

As cidre brut ( only for US export ) pours extremely light. Fuckin close to water ( insert the famous joke here ) . Smell is bit tart, dry, apple, tad sugar. Taste is sharp, apples , not to dry. Very high carbonation though.

25cl bottle @ d’Hellekapelle, Loker. The only cider option for my other half, and judging by it’s presentation in a mini-champagne bottle we weren’t really expecting a lot. Lightly sparkling with minimal sweet apples and, well.. not a lot else. Not necessarily bad tasting, even if there wasn’t much of a cider taste to speak of but was alright with a meal.

A light yellow cider with a disappearing white head. The aroma has notes of cork and apples, while the flavor is sweet acidic from the apples, combined with light notes of ascorbine acid, leading to a dry end.

(Bottle 75 cl) Very pale, almost crystal clear, with a small, white head. Somewhat clinical, medicinal aroma. Light-bodied and slightly tart. Not overly apply. 271105
