Bottle. A- Cloves, spices, wheat, bubble gum. A- Golden color, clear liquid, soft white head. T- Spices, cloves, bubble gum, banana, wheat, slightly sweet. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, unexciting finish. O- A fair amount of spice and subtle pink bubble gum. Overall, it just seemed to lack and didn’t provide enough depth. It was rather boring. The head was a beautiful soft white head however. Maybe one of the best I have seen.

500ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours clear gold, pillowy white head. Aromas of banana and light spice, some bread. Taste is more of the same, light sweet. Clean finish. Decent.

Bottled @ some Koln restaurant, large sample. Hazy golden color, medium head. Aroma of a bit banana, some clove, bit buttery. Bit watery taste, bit sweet, bit bitter. Not the best hefeweizen, a bit too buttery.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

Keg at CASC, Aberdeen. It pours cloudy orange with a small white head. The nose is wheat, earth, barnyard, light spice and cream. The taste is crisp, stewed orange, tangerine, candied peel, wheat, doughy and light tartness with a dry, somewhat citric finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Pretty drinkable stuff, but not a whole lot going on. Alright.

Caña 15-01-14 en el córner (cerca de gascona) de Oviedo. Bastante trigo y sabores maltosos con ciertos toques cítricos. Bastante ligera y fácil de beber. Color rubio turbio con ligeras columnas de burbujas y espuma blanca densa bastante persistente. Normal una caña refrescante y fácil de beber. Bastante bien el barril.

300 ml. draft @ Dom im Stapelhaus. Very cloudy Hefe golden with a big, super creamy white head. This one totally looks the part. Nose is huge banana, very sweet wheat and cloves with a whiff of acetone & chemical cleaners, light but this doesn’t feel entirely right for me. Very sweet taste, lots of banana puree, thick wheat, very sugar, cloves, sticky with very thick yeast with an odd acetic note in the back but only faintly so. Faint citrus, thick mouthfeel. Pretty simple with light off-putting notes but overall still enjoyable & easy to drink.

Im Antrunk schön süffig-hefig-frisch. Der Abgang ist leicht herb, aber diese Herbe fügt sich gut in die Hefenote ein. Sehr schön rund und ausgeglichen. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhaltend, dabei wird die Herbe noch deutlicher. Ein sehr schönes Weizen!
