From tap at Speciaalbier Café De Markies, Leeuwarden. Sweet and tart cherries dominate. Picking up some vinegar, nice puckering sourness. Medium body. Not complex (seems to be a Cosmic Crush characteristic), but nicely intense cherry overdose.

Bottle, at Nærbø Ølfestival. It's a clear, dark golden colored beer with close to no head or carbonation. The aromas is yoghurty and fruitysourish, with a faint note of vinegar. Not much cherry going on, nor vinousity. It's dry and acidic on the palate, with a very fruity flavor. More generic fruityness and berry-ish than specifically cherry and red grapes vinousity. Some vinegar and wood too, and a really lasting finish. Rather dull and one dimensional this one, pretty uninteresting. 191005

Bottle. Unclear reddish brown body under a small white head. Aroma of fresh cherry with hint of almond, lemon and slightly funky. Taste is moderate sweet with mild acidity, dominating cherry, hint of almond, funk and matured fruit. Balanced in taste, body and pleasant aftertaste. Not super complex, but well made and refreshing.

Bottle. A- Mild funk, tart, acidic. A- Golden color, clear liquid, minimal head. T- Cherry liqueur, tangy, oak, slightly acidic. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- Nice cherry upfront but it wanes a little as it warms and becomes more of a generic sour. Fairly solid sour.
