Warka is the most “beery” brand with brewing in its name. In the brewing jargon, the word “warka” means a portion of beer obtained from one brew. At the same time, it’s the name of a town with centuries of brewing traditions.

Warka Jasne Pełne is a classic lager, whose great taste is a result of carefully selected ingredients, special recipe, and the Polish hops called Magnum. Warka is the only beer brand in Poland with a chain of its own pubs. Currently, there are about 80 Warka Pubs (Piwiarnie Wareckie), which serve as a place for building beer culture and promoting the brand.

Can from the Eastern European shop in Dalry Rd, Edinburgh.
Appearance - golden and clear with nice suds.
Nose - corn, green beans and mushy peas.
Taste - caramel, toffee and honeycomb, signs of crystal malt as well as some honey.
Palate - light to medium bodied, chewy middle and fairly clean finish.
Overall - more crystal malt flavours than pale malt so didn't expect that.

Aromas are malt, a bit of hops and dry grain. Flavors are similar to nose, mildly more sweet than bitter with okay carbonation. Drinkable beer, nothing more.

Dark gold with a medium sized fluffy white head. Tangy, yeasty and sweet with faint fruity and grassy hops. Medium finish and body.

0.55 l can from Poland, 5.5% ABV. Golden color, white head. Malts, hay, some sweetness in aroma. Sweet taste with bitterish finish. Light body, short finish. Easily drinkable.

14.03.2025 Aromat słabo wyraźny, zbożowy, chmielu prawie wcale nie czuć Klarowne złociste piana biała szybko znika. Nagazowanie średnie, orzeźwiające, lekkie, finisz stary chmiel. Smak goryczki brak, słodycz jest, ziemisty smak. Ogólnie koncernowy lager, pić schłodzone.
