.5 L at St. Arnold’s Mussel Bar in Washington DC. Poured a hazy golden yellow color with a small, fluffy white head. Aroma was fruity yeast notes, lots of sweet sugar, some straw. Alcohol comes out a bit in this one. Light floral notes on the finish. Okay.

Bottle, thanks Eddan. Clear dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of fruit, some light spices, apricot and some alcohol. Similar taste. The body was rather weak on this one. Drinkable but not that special.

Authentic abbey tripel with snow white, rocky, sticky, stable head and light golden blonde colour, clear but ochre and hazy with deposit. Malty aroma, grainy, bready, a bit earthy, peach, grapefruit, spicy hops. Malty, sweetish, fruity taste, drying in the finish with a gentle herbal hop bitterness in the tail, a bit spicy. Very accessible and stereotypical, but balanced and decent tripel.

Solid tripel. Body of grainy malt and yeast, with some fruits and a nice dryness.

Location: Draft at St. Arnold's, 5/24/14

Aroma: The aroma is on the sweet side, yeast/spice, and some fruit
Appearance: It pours a clear yellow-orange color with a decent sized head
Flavor: This beer has a pretty decent flavor, leans sweet, with some spice to it as well
Palate: The mouthfeel is pretty solid too, with a decent body
Overall Impression: I'm surprised I haven't rated this one before. This is a nice, solid, Tripel. I have no complaints.

Bottled, BB 13.06.16, large sample. Clear golden color, medium frothy head quickly diminishing, quite some large bubbles. Aroma of sweet and spicy belgian triple, a bit grainy, some high alcohol. Quite typical triple styled. Bit sweet in taste, quite dry. Dry mouthfeel, high carbonation, large bubbles popping on the tongue, leaving a dry sharp and a bit spicy note behind. Way too high on carbonation, gets you a full stomach right away. Average triple.
