Junction named with a nod to our local train station, Clapham Junction, Junction is a rich, premium ale. Sweeter than Wandle it is brewed with Maris otter Pale and a dose of crystal and roasted barley with Challenger, Goldings and Bramling X hops. there is now a good reason to go “Up the Junction

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5

Pours an almost clear amber colour with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, caramel with some fruit and hop notes. A moderately sweet and malty taste, sweet malts, caramel, berry fruit flavours with a decent leafy hop bitterness.

Caramel, bitter, unfortunately I find it unpleasant, not a fan.

# 2851; 4/2022. Roasty, fruity and earthy aroma. Cloudy copper body, lovely lacing beige head. Roasty, bready, fruity, honey, herbal; sweeter finish. Good beer - seems to me more like red ale than bitter. Pint, hand-pulled, pub, Lincoln (Lincolnshire, England).

Cask at Butler’s Bell, Stafford (though I have had it before) Pours a hazy chestnut with minimal white head and some lacing. [ Not sure it’s supposed to be cloudy ] Theres an aroma of rotting fruit about this, mixed in with malts. In the mouth it starts of with mainly autumn fruits, caramel and toffee before raisins and malts add to the mix later. Slight sweetness at the start becomes slight bitterness. Finish is dry and fruity. Quite reasonable
