Polypin container at a party in SW7. An amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty aroma. Tastes slightly hoppy, quite malty, caramel, slightly fruity. 3 pints went down quite well actually.

Amber. Beige head. Superb aroma of fine hops, gras, pine, flower fields, cereals and dark caramel. Fine taste, with bitterness and sweet malt balancing each other well.

(bottle) Clear, dark amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Slightly ashy malty aroma with notes of caramel, accompanied by slightly grassy and subtle fruity hops. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Mildly roasted malty taste with notes of caramel, bread crusts and ashes, combined with lighter spicy and slightly grassy hoppy accents; bitter-sweet and slightly roasted malty finish with spicy and delicately fruity hops. Unspectacular but likeable. 16.IV.14

Cask @ Gallows Bird ⅩⅦ Real Ale Festival
Aroma is rather fruity with some hops and caramel tones. Flavour is a bit musty with minerals, toffee and grainy tones. Also hints of caramel. Too English but decent anyway
