Tap at Mikkeller Tallinn Viru. Poor head retention, even though carbonation seems to be moderate. Med-thin body. Med-high bitterness, low bitterness. Mostly malty, but rather dry. Moderate toasted bready character, slightly burnt and spicy. Good but not great, not my favourite style either.

On tap at John Bull Ålborg. A clear looking amber colored beer with a dense finger thick off-white head leaving curtains. The aroma has butterscotch, bread, semi-dark grains and some honey corn notes. Lightly roasted, with grass and pine cone hints. It's semi dry on the palate, nicely carbonated and medium bodied, with a gentle bittering. Roasted malts, dark rye bread, honey corn, some dark dried fruit and a touch of pine cones in the flavor. Medium length finish. This one feels just like so many bad specimen of the style, except it feels like it's done intentionally and ironically and it sort of works. Weird. 230807

Can from Kvickly and drunk at home 08/06/2023 Toasted and slightly sweet malty, notes of caramel, some grassy hops, cereal, toasted bready malty, bitter hoppy finish. Works well.

can from my local føtex brown, darker than expected, smooth white head. Very mild aroma, cereral grainy malty that's all i can sense. Flavor is sweet and grainy malty, faint brown sugar, faint nutty bitterness. quite a malty brew.

Can, medium bubbly fluffy head, hazy dark orange colour, citrus, caramel and cookies, medium bitterness, and quite sweet. Fair and drinkable.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Canned (with Mats). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some sweet berries and mild nutty and toasted tones. Flavour is toffee, toasted and mild nutty notes with some slight herbs.
