Vintage 2020. On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas - Olambic Games, pours a hazy bright golden with a tiny head. Aroma has soft grape skins, subtle some wet wood, and a touch of earthiness. Flavour reveals some tangy notes, wet wood, and old sweat sock. Not much funk or complexity in general. It’s decent for an unblended.

On tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas for the Olambic Games. Pours murky blonde with no head. Funky nose, musty grape skins, some old wood. Flavour has a bunch of musty old grape skins, some wood, very gentle tannins. Light carbonation. Very nice.

On tap at Moeder, tasting both 2020 and 2023.
Aroma is light with notes of green grapes and white wine. Light oak notes and hints of grain. Light alcohol notes.
Pours an orange color with copper hues, 2020 is hazy while 2023 is fairly clear. Thin, white head that recedes and disappears. No lacing or legs.
Flavor is somewhat acidic with light grain notes. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate fruity wine notes with a lighter fruity note in the older one. Older vintage has more of a sherry note.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium light carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, both are solid beers but they are very different beers. The younger is much fruitier while the older vintage has a deeper, richer, sherry note.

Totally flat, light, a bit sour, fruity. Juicy, peachy, finishes dry. Nice.

Draft @ Zwanze 2022, Moeder Lambic Fontainas.

On tap at Moeder Fontainas (2018). Clear flat (no head) yellow pour. Barrel bouquet. Whoa, zero carbonation. Mild sourness and barnyard overshadow grain and cereal notes. Average body and mouthfeel.
