Golden colour with thin head. Aroma of overripe, blackened bananas and a touch of clove. Flavour is much the same. Thin, watery. Way too sweet.

Can 33cl. from a local AH supermarket @home poured into a shaker. Clear medium amber, small fizzy off-white head, mostly diminishing, minor lacing. Aroma sweet malts, corn, sugar beet, vegetables. Taste light light sweet and slightly bitter malty, sugar, cereals, apple, glue. Light body, watery texture, flat carbonation, thin sweetish aftertaste, cold tea, bad beer.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Coop, Culemborg.
Clear dark golden with a thin quickly disappearing white head. Weird spicy aroma. Sweet spicy taste with a very short bitter finish. Initially it's not that bad but then the artificial aroma's completely take over. It's also really thin, even for a low alcohol beer. Not good.
Sweet, carrots, sugary, malty

Yet another one jumping on the bandwagon of the low alcohol beer hype: Bavik, now officially called De Brabandere, presenting this near-non-alcoholic version of their 'cyclist beer' Kwaremont. Off-white, irregularly edged, coarse but thick and frothy, cobweb-lacing, stable head on a crystal clear and very pure, deep 'old gold' coloured beer with visible sparkling. Weird aroma of vegetable stock cubes, old books, leftover soup meat, old dusty curry powder, chicken broth, very old oxidized white wine without the alcohol, fresh dill and cooked fennel somewhere, chervil, rusty iron, apple juice, hint of honey. Sweet onset, apple and some banana, sharp and numbing carbonation adding lots of minerality, very thin mouthfeel - watery, in fact, missing structure even for a non-alcoholic beverage; a thin strand of sweet cerealliness with even a 'bread-pulpy' aspect lingers, along with a glueish effect and a strong metallic 'zing'. Ends with a volatile bitterishness that dissolves as quickly as it appeared, and retronasally that whole weird soupy and herbal effect is brought back, again reminiscent of spoiled curry soup, leftover soup meat and spoiled vegetables. This is much worse than I expected: not only completely unnecessary, but unpleasant in the nose, very thin and metallic in the mouth and quite industrial, with that vegetable effect adding insult to injury. This kind of products should not be on the market - I had macro-brewed industrial lagers without alcohol that tasted better, go figure. Abominable even for its category.

33 cl bottle Kwaremont 0.3. Golden, clear, good white foam. Aroma: a little spicy, a little aromatic herbs, sweetish. Taste: like soda, only unsweetened, a little herbs, very watery, so-so.

0.33 l bottle from 'Ace Drinks', best before March 2021. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly floral aroma of grains, corn flakes and a touch of bubblegum. Gently sweet, malty, a bit floral taste of grains, corn flakes and some bubblegum, followed by a short, minimally bitter, slightly worty finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Not very good, tastes somewhat artificial.

Bottle at home for breakfast. Clear golden with fluffy white head. Some hops, wheat, wort, soft citrus and peach. Medium sweet, soft bitter. Over light bodied with fizzy carbonation. Quite OK for a non alcoholic beer.
