Finally, a slight but persistent bitterness will excite your taste buds. This is certainly a beer to drink in moderation. Formerly 8.4% ABV.

Old rating - A 330ml bottle from Dunell's in Jersey. Pours a hazy orange colour with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, cinnamon, cereal, sweet malt, hints of spice & alcohol. Medium body. mild to medium sweet bitter finish. Decent triple

# 4287; 7/2024. Honey, spicy, floral aroma. Murky gold body; off-white head. Honey, sugar, fruity, spicy, floral, alcohol warmth. Good triple. 0,7 l, bottle, supermarket, somewhere in Lorraine or Alsace, France.

Bottle from La Grande Epicerie de Paris. Lightly hazed golden amber with a white head and a light fizz. Sweet and lightly spiced. Honey, Speyside whisky. Coriander seed. A fruity hint. Light dryness.Maybe a bit too sweet but it's very enjoyable nevertheless. Good stuff, and a new region for me too. Wahoo!

0,75l bottle shared by a friend @ Bonneil Matours. Pours hazy yellow with a medium head. Aroma is sweet and tart malts with some fruity notes. Flavor is sweet and tart malts, citrus, yeast esters, alcohol, hops. Pretty good.

Clear golden colour, minimal off-white head; aroma and taste of intensive honey, peach, grainy/bready, some yeasty and vinous notes; not bad though a bit unbalancedly honey-ish sweet

Bruin bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht bitterzoet en vrij krachtig met iets van kaneel, druiven en peer. Degelijk bier. Jammer dat het zo dood is anders was de waardering zeker hoger geweest.
