Rare treat! Celtus is the son of Polyphemus and Galatea. A collaboration with our Greek brewing brothers, Seven Island Brewery, from the Corfu island. A Rye Wine brewed with Finnish rye and aged in oak. Superb balanced, sweet and delicate flavors from the oak aging. Enjoy chilled to 12°C from a goblet or red wine glass.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin tot donker amberkleurig bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige wat hoppige geur. De smaak is caramel achtig en houtig.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, dark amber with a creamy and lacing beige head. Heavy buble gum aroma! Sweet and rich caramel body with plenty of balancing hops. I don't really get any oak though. But a nice effort for a Rye Wine. 080120

I like the malty mouthful with alcohol warmth and Low bitterness. The rye is as good as it can be, but is a but muddled in the flavor profile. All around very good beer. Online saveaur bier advent 2019
