On tap at Charma’s kiosk, Athens Craft Beer Expo. Pours hazy orange with medium creamy white head. Fruity aromas, orange, citrus peel, grapefruit, slight sweetness, crispy mouthfeel, balanced and enjoyable. A very refreshing and promising ale from Crete. Wish I could enjoy a pint at Chania, while staring at the lighthouse!

On tap at the Apoma restaurant right next to the old Mosque on Chania harbour side. A recommendation from the waiter as the Dunkel was out. Had to get him to write down the beer name which he spelled ’Pay Ale’. Sticking my neck out and guessing this means Pale Ale. Same brewery as the Lager anyway. Very hazy orange - gold beer. Good white head. Palate is smooth but with.a crisp trailing edge. Clean malt, slightly sweet. Hops are tangy fresh orange with a nice sub tone of mango. Finishes semi.dry and crispy. Hangs together very well. Tasty local number.
