Bottled. Hazy ambery brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is floral, some dried fruits and mild spicy yeast to it. Flavour is pretty much following the pattern of the aroma. Somewhat sweet. Quite simple.

Bottle at Gainsbar. Smells like pfeffernusse. Tastes the same but with a bit of caramel too. Dark chocolate. Interesting and quite nice, but maybe not so exciting.

Pours dark, Chocolate brown. Small white head fases fast. Smell is creamy, sweet. Taste is Sharp, very roasty ( VERY roasty ) giving hints of coffee, and a touch of the purest of dark Chocolate. In balanced, yes. But that doesn’t automatically make it bad. Stay away if you dont like roastyness though ! Mildly sweet, agreeable mf and Nice carbo

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en rokig, bittere (dark) chokolade, en ietwat anijs en vanille. Erg goed bier, ook buiten de winterperiode.

26/VIII/15 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: n/a, bottled: X/2014 (2015-1127) Thanks to Belle for the bottle!

Clear red brown beer, small irregular beige to brown head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: very spicy, lots of cloves, more cloves, overripe banana, sweet, bay leafs, pumpkin spices, alcohol. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very spicy, lots of cloves, too much to be good, ginger bread, bit sweet and sugary, alcohol, some caramel, dried fruits, milk chocolate. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, cloves, caramel, star anise, spicy, little roasted, liquorish, alcohol, ginger bread. Too spicy to my liking, lay low on those cloves, please!
