Xirdalan is a №1 local beer in Azerbaijan, proudly brewed from natural quality ingredients. The beer is characterized by a gentle taste and rich natural flavor of a classic lager.

The light colour beer is brewed according to the classical technology. High quality raw material is used in this process, which includes yeast, barley and special “Holsten” beer leaven which aromatizes only this type of beer. In the process of filtration specific odor is given to this type of beer. It contains a medium bitter taste. This bitter taste is achieved by special yeast types used in the process of making of a special porridge mass. A slight bitter taste of the beer saturated with natural carbon gas in the process of fermentation cools off us in hot summer days.

Can at BBT. Malty aroma and taste, grainy notes, light mettalic, light to medium bitter. Light to medium body, thin texture, malty empty bitter finish. Not good.

Country tick #133, thnx to Erzengel! Can best before 09-04-2020, golden beer, small head, aroma is sweet, grain, honey, malt. Taste is the same, sweet, light bitter, very drying aftertaste that dries out the tongue. Ok

Bottle in Baku. Clear golden a bit dark, medium white head. Nose: metallic, soap. Very artificial. Mouth: completely undrinkable, even a bit off.

"The beer is clear golden in colour with a nice foamy white head. It tastes malty and bitter before it finishes off more sweet. Very short on the aftertaste, and hard to tell it apart from other commercial lagers." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Shared 450 ml can at local tasting. Clear golden colour, white head. Sweetish perfumed aroma, hints of artificial candy and chemical waste. The flavour is slightly better, rather neutral pale lager, but not much to write home about.

Shared can at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 12.04.18. Clear pale golden. Diminishing bright white head. Aroma of both toilet refreshener and unrefreshed pissoir, as well as citrus candy. Taste of citrus candy and sorrel. Meh!

Very fresh 500ml bottle. Pours clear gold with a medium-sized white head that fades in a couple of seconds. Aroma is grain, grass. Taste is light sweet, malt, a bit skunky, grain, light bitterness. Very drinkable and pretty decent. Reminds me of Baltika 7.
