Tap at victory taproom Philadelphia. A clear golden yellow coloured pour with a fine sticky white head. Aroma is crisp, earthy, light cereal, waxy, hint of earth. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tart lager notes, crisp, light apple notes, crisp finish, grassy hop. Palate is super crisp, mineral, highish crisp carbonation. Good clean lager.

12 ounce can. Bright yellow gold color. Pillowy white head. Grainy malt nose has floral notes. Soft biscuity malt flavor. A hint of lemon on the palate. Clean and crisp with a slightly drying finish. Very quaffable.

12 ounce bottle. Bright gold color. Small bubbly white head. Crisp, malty nose. Light grainy malt flavor. Slightly sweet and light bodied. Light hop bitterness in finish. Easy drinking. A notch below the traditional German Helles lagers, but good nonetheless.

Bottle from Brewdog online. Pours clear golden with a white top. Aroma: sweet-ish grains, bready dough, honey, light floral. Taste: light sweet & bitter, bready malts, grass. Light body and average carbonation. Found it a bit dull tbh

Bottle via BD Online. It pours clear yellow with a a dissipating white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, doughy bread, sponge cake, madelines and grass. The taste is crisp, dry, soft fruity vibes, cereal, grassy, toasty grain, doughy bread and sponge cake with a dry finish. Average body and fine, foamy carbonation. Quite a malty lager - plenty of sponge cake. Pleasant stuff.

From May 2007

I received this in a trade with jwc215...thanks, Joe!

This pours from 12oz bottle(best by Jun 19 07) a clear, bubbly straw gold colour with a large head of foam. It settles down after a while but stays for the entire session as a fine layer and there's lacing.

The smell hasa pretty hoppy aroma mixed in with some malty tones.

The taste on first sip has a nice hoppy presence... I'm getting some lemon zest. Further sips in and there's some non sweetish malt and bread there but they are on the light side. It finishes crisp and clean and makes for a good thirst quencher.

The body is light as is the carbonation. I like this one and it has a good German feel to it.

Bottom line: This is a good Lager...no bells or whistles, just a good solid Lager. I'd drink it again.

On tap at Victory Downingtown. It pours a golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma is a little bready and floral. The flavor is mildly bready and a little on the sweet side. Pale malts with hints of honey and flowers. Light bodied. Ok. Seems pretty authentic to me.
