Cask at Swan with Two Necks, Stockport (not listed in RateBeer) Pours a golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Gentle hoppy aroma. In the mouth is a fresh sweetish mixture of fruit, hops, corn and a trace of ginger. Hops and fruit linger in the dry finish. Drunk this a few times before and not though much of it, but this one was quite nice. Maybe due to proximity of brewery ?

0.5 l bottle from Vrutak, Zagreb. Shared with little Dina and her family. Clear amber, small off-white head. Aroma is strongly malty, caramely, fruity candy, sugars. Burnt caramel, slightly phenolic. Leaves, paper. Moderate carbonation, light finish, unpleasant.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep copper pour, half finger soapy off-white head, short lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Herbal nose, grassy, earthy. Mild caramel in the background. Thin body, medium to high carbonation, quite lively. Lightweight mouthfeel and texture, refreshingly fizzy. Bitter taste combined with subtle caramel sweetness and touch of fruit tart. Aroma of caramel malt, lightly toasted, bread, grass and herbs. Some fruity hop notes, lingering bitterness, a bit dry. Metallic notes here and there. Medium lasting finish. Solid bitter.
