This Black DIPA is a flavour combo of roasty dark malts and ‘a lot’ of hops; we used Simcoe, Yellow Sub, Centennial, Columbus and Chinook for a balanced mix of pine, citrus and tropical notes.

Blik gedeelt door Roelzie1986, het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een bruinig schuim. Het heeft een hoppige wat harsige geur. De smaak is moutig, gebrand en koffie achtig.

Can via a Fierce. It pours jet black with a sturdy tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred, big coffee character, sticky, chocolate gateaux, tropical fruit vibes, mango, pineapple and fresh pine. The taste is dry, good hit of bitterness, thick rich roasted malt, charred, burnt toast, coffee grounds, piney sting, liquorice, some fruity vibes, twist of citrus and peppery spice with drying and bitter roasty linger. Medium - full ish body and moderate carbonation. Robust and flavourful. Moreish and quaffable.
