This Pancake Pale was made with vegan Pancakes in the mash, and Canadian Maple Syrup in the boil. Full bodied, full flavoured yet really drinkable.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 18/07/22. Clear golden copper with an off white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is sweet malts, good maple syrup presence, caramel, pancakes. Taste comprises sweet malts, not as good as the nose in terms of maple syrup, sugars, hint of dried fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Smells good ... taste peters away somewhat. Ok for what it is ... nothing to revisit.

Can at home from supermarche i think. Amostly clear amber orange coloured pour with a fading beige head. Aroma is semi sweet, sticky maple, brown sugars, some orange rind, sticky toffee, pancake batter. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, maple syrup, toffee, jammy fruit, raisin loaf, Palate is semi sweet, sticky, moderate carbonation . Very gimmicky. Not bad execution though.

Can from Sainsbury's Supermarket, Salford. Amber with a small carbonation and a thin head. The maple in this brew is extremely stated in both aroma and taste, making it rich in the latter, perhaps a little overbearing too, but is enjoyable.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. MOderate malty and light hoppy pastry aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Strong cookie notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.
