Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Opaque dark brown beer with a small dark tan head. Palate is smooth and dry with light fine carbonation. Flemish red sourness with a touch of balsamic vinegar. Light bitterness. Finishes smooth. Tasty but not as good as the Oud Bruin.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours darkest brown with a small, bubbly beige head. The nose is sour, woody, light vanilla, honey, cocoa, fudge and rocky road. The taste is smooth, vinous, earth, red wine, prune, vanilla, coconut, light tartness, lemon sherbet and mild acidity with a dry finish. Medium+body and moderate carbonation. Smooth, tart and earthy. A decent sour brown.

Bottles shared at Bruce’s in London - big thanks to Kenny. Pours lightly oily brown with a slight, bubbly beige head. Tangy berries in the aroma, some wet wood, slight cocoa, grapes. Medium sweet flavor, good and tangy, dried berries, wood, cherries, light funk, burnt wood. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Oily texture. Tangy dark berries to finish, mild funk, oily cocoa, earth, wet wood. A bit of vinous character. Very nice. Good balance for the ABV.
