Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Opaque dark brown beer, little pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry with fine carbonation. Smooth malt. Flemish red like sourness. Whisper of dark fruits. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours hazy dark brown with a small beige head. The nose is cherry cola, candy, earth, wood and dark fruit. The taste is wet wood, earth, cola, blueberry, cherry, light tartness, sugar, sherbet, green apple and creaminess with a dry, tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Interesting and pretty tasty.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London - big thanks to Kenny-O. Pours dark brown with a frothy beige head. Nice tangy, aged fruits in the nose, suggestions of sourness, wet wood, dirt. Light to medium sweet flavor with dried berries, earth, torched wood, subtle earthy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with more tangy, dried fruits, berries, a bit of semi-dry cocoa, damp wood, some raisins. Very nice. Great balance.
