Draft @ Borefts 2014. A real taste bomd. Copper color, no head at all. Sweet, malty and with a sticky mouthfeel. Nice evolving taste of dark fruits, with a warming glow of the Grappa. Very good.

Sampled @ Borefts 2014. Opaque pitch black color, small dark brown head. Very nice aroma of malts, liquor, roast. Taste malts, liquor, wood, lightly roast. Full body, smooth texture, medium carbonation. Very nice!

Clear dark purple brown beer, small head, big bubbles. Aroma: sourish, earthy, wild and funky. MF: no carbon, medium to full body. Taste: alcohol, sourish, very vinous, roasted, fruity, plums, red wine, some banana, caramel. Aftertaste: alcohol, funky, unpleasant bitter tannins, meh.

Sampled from a 0.375l bottle @ Haandfest 2014. Not much head on this one. Only some small white bubbles in one corner of the glass. The beer itself is deep golden almost a little amber brown in the glass. Slightly sweetish caramel sugar aromas. Some grass and herbs also located here. Smells nice. Lots of flavor. What kind of beer is this? A blend of a barley wine and a....? Soft on the carbonation and it's wrapped in a thick oily body. Kinda soapy in a way. Detergent and lots of slightly sour berries. A flavorful little thing and it's leaving a warming sensation lingering in the aftertaste. 24.05.2014

Bottle. Hazy copper beer with no head. Toffee/caramel aroma with fruit. Toffee and grape flavor with light burnt sugar. Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Toffee and grapes linger with light spirits.

Pours slightly hazy brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, oak, wood, red apples and alcohol. Tasste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Aroma: Fruity, vinous, some alcohol and caramel.
Palate: Full body. A bit sweet, and a mild bitterness. Soft to flat carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Caramel, fruity, oak, nutty and some alcohol
Overall impression: Maybee the big surprise at this festival. The brewer recommended it. I knew it was stored on grappa barrels, and I really dislike grappa. This was a really lovely and nice sipper. Will buy a bottle or two if I find it.
