Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is brown malt with caramel, yeast, dried fruits, raisins, spicy notes, touch of plum, clove, and a hint of liquorice. Flavour is sweet with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Solid example of the style.

A dark brown beer, a head is huge and blond. Aroma has very complex spicyness, dark fruitness. Taste has spicyness, light dried fruitness, anise. Medium bodied, high carbonation. Spice overdose, but still quite nice.

Lighter thinner body. A bit tart. Not classically belgian, decent beer, but not full bodied rich like I’d like for style. Online beergium

Dark brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a mix of sweet and spicy. Liquorice, green peppercorns, clove. Slightly numbing. Slightly medicinal.

Erg goed.

Clear amber brown, colour. small creamy beige head, half-way lasting, fair lacing. Aroma toasted malt, dark fruit, treacle, caramel. Smooth taste, light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, fruity, toffee, syrupy, candy sugar. Full-bodied, oily to sticky texture, average carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, liquorice, bit syrupy, burnt caramel, spicy notes, light alcohol. Very smooth, well-balanced, complex, easy to drink, excellent.
