Bottiglia. Il naso vira verso il fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana media. Il liquido si presenta limpido. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di perlage dalle bollicine medio-fini, con carbonazione persistente. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. In bocca l'aroma è quello di miele, cereali, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, un accenno di resinoso, agrumi e frutta passita.

330 ml bottle. Pours with a hazy golden color and a nice white head. Aromas of toffee and caramel, followed by some fruity notes of orange and citric. Some Belgian yeast as well. Taste is sweet malt, honey, hints of lemon and some spices. Long lasting bitter finish.

Dec. ’16. On tap at Open Baladin, Rome. It poured hazy yellow body with medium sized, yellow hued head. Pleasant fruity aroma along with some yeast, biscuit and candy. Flavor was sweet, fruity (the same ripe banana and other sweeter tropical), lightly estery, with vanilla sugar and maybe spicy like some citrus peel. No coriander from some reason. Medium bodied, seemed much weaker than it is, not only that alcohol was hidden. Long, sweet finish. Okay, however was a bit too sweet for my taste (and the style anyway) and lacked complexity, so didn’t meet my expectations.

Bottle at home. Clear dark golden with white head. Sweet malts, fruity and spiced, some little sour in there, quite alcoholic, bit dusty and plasticcy at first but opens up nicely after a while to more complex notes of green melon, grape most, white raisans, distant grape stones and overripe banana, sherry and pine wood. Big sweet, light bitter, hints of sour. Medium body, soft fizzy carbonation. Quite interesting, triple meets geuze.

On tap @King Arthur (Ciampino). Pours cloudy yellow, opalescent, light white foam. Aroma is malty, yeasty, fruity and spiced, citrus zest. Flavour is a bit one-dimensional and boring, quite balanced but it lacks complexity. Medium to high body, medium carbonation. Nothing special.

Bottle bought at Mikkeller & Friends in April 2014. Clear golden/orange with a white head. On the sweet side with dried fruit, malt, some "tutti-frutti" and warming alcohol. The body was almost full on this one.
