Bottle from Drinkstore [Jan 2014]
Pitch black, big thick beige head that dissipates, good lacing
Aroma - Rich meaty roast, definite whisky but not too much, bit vinous. some dark fruits, touch of red berries, hint of treacle, woody, complex
Taste of dark malts, mellow roast, hint of vanilla, the whisky is good in this, bit leathery, dab of dark fruits, some alcohol is noticeable, touch of chocolate, again complex
Palate - soft carb, full body, very smooth. Finish as main flavour, warming alcohol, a bit dry
Overall - The whisky does work in this - decent impy

Dark brown color, small brown head. Vanilla, roasted notes in the aroma. Full-bodied. Roasted malts, lots of vanilla, quite sweetish, some whiskey warming. Nice barrel ageing, although quite typical flavors.

33 cl. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Thx! Black with a mocha / beige head. Nose is huge vanilla from the wood, molasses, sweet mocha, chocolate & caramel, quite unbalanced but nice. Taste is light whiskey, this makes me think more of bourbon honnestly than Irish whiskey with the big vanilla wood notes, sweet with some hars barrel, wood, mocha, caramel, chocolate, coffee, sweet brown sugar & touch molasses. Less carb. witch fits nicely. This is very unbalanced sadly but brings a lot of fun, with more balance this could become a true heavy hitter.
