Ein Witbier mit weihnachtlichen Gewürzen 🌿und Orangenzeste 🍊 ist eigentlich nix außergewöhnliches, aber dies als dezidiertes Sommerbier 🏖️ zu bekommen, kannte ich bislang noch nicht. Das ist aber wirklich gut gelungen und ist tatsächlich würzig 😌und gleichzeitig erfrischend 🤪. Die toll komponierten Gewürznoten im milden Körper erfreuen den Gaumen und der spritzige Abgang hinterlässt einen lang anhaltenden Applaus im Mund 👄.

0,5 l bottle. Pale yellow golden in the glass, slightly cloudy, one finger white foamy head. Grassy citrus aroma, little bit pale grain. Taste starts light pale grainy, citrus in the second row, increasing mid dry bitterness. Some coriander. Yes, hints of pepper. Light stuff. Above average carbonation. Okay, but nothing spectacular.

[ As Störtebeker Mittsommer-Wit ].
ABV: 4.7%. Light cloudy looking eith a medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, citrus, orange, moderate yeasty, witbier yeast, fruity yeast, minerals. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20240326]

Fles gedeeld door Roelzie. Het is een licht troebel geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van mout en gist. De smaak is moutig, zacht citrus achtig en bitter.

Bananiger Geruch. Zu Beginn leicht hefig, weiche und milde Herbe, spritzig. Trocken herb-hefiger Mittelteil, dann wässriger und leicht säuerlich werdend. Spritzig, eher kurzer Abgang. Ok. 7/8/9/7/8/8

Pale, yellow pour, slightly hazy with a small white head. Aromas of citrus, malt, some spices. Tastes is banana, wheat/white bread, (sweet citrus), pepper, cloves and indeed a hint of coriander. Not bad. Thumbs up for being organic, too.
