Can from lowcostbeer.com, consumed 2 weeks past BBE. Pours black with nice sized beige to tanned foamy head but disintegrates after a while. Aroma is a little sweet with coffee, berries, some roast, floral-woody notes. Taste of malts, wood, dark fruits, licorice, semi-bitter, a touch drying. Light to medium bodied, nice tingly carbonation. Enjoyable.

Can from Beer52. Bit of a gusher; poured black with a humongous beige head and took quite a bit of time and effort even to fit it in a pint glass. Light chocolate, some slightly dry woodiness and a lot of rioja-like fruit. Smooth, tasty and very drinkable. I enjoyed this a lot.

Can from Beers Of Europe. Appearance - it's a gusher. Black with a big lively fawn head, all over the floor. Nose - molasses, blackjack sweets. Taste - smoky, molasses and liquorice. Palate - medium bodied. Dry and roasty through middle and finish Overall - it's marked down by 0.2 because I lost a third of it, it being a gusher. A shame.
