Fles gedeeld met Roelzie en Frans. Het is een troebel oranje bruin bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van mout en gist. De smaak is vol moutig, zacht fruitig en gist achtig.

F: huge, light tan, average retention. C: deep amber with orange hue against the light, hazy. A: malty, very fruity esters, yeasty, spicy, peach. T: malty, caramel, fruity, yeasty, light spicy, bit of paprika, bit of grassy, medium body, medium carbonation, not bad but the best amber beer from Wallonia 2012, 33cl bottle from färm.tongres organic shop in Brussels.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Brugge. Hazy dark amber with a thin head. Has a fruity sweetness evident in its nose and taste, with a hint of cherry in the latter - its strength is not overly evident in either aspect.

Bruin bier zonder schuim, alhoewel het onmiddellijk omhoog kwam bij openen. Smaak is licht bitter hoppig, licht zoet met karamel en koffie. Jammer dat het gelijk dood slaat in het glas.

Bottle from an ’épicerie’ in Bastogne. Lacing, egg-white, moussy, dense head, peach blonde robe with amberish-orange hue, vividly sparkling, hazy with bits of yeast throughout. Weird aroma of sweet spiciness and fruity esters: candied apricot, stewed pear, sweet red curry, tomato juice, blue cheese, fried chicken, apple sauce, curcuma, strawberry, freshly cooked pasta. Fruity onset, estery with residual white candi sugar sweetness, hints of strawberry, melon and some redcurrant, medium and somewhat minerally carbonation, caramelly and honeyish middle, malty with lingering esters and growing spicy notes, bready too due too yeastiness, sweet paprika accent retronasally as well as some oxidation, cheesy hops in the end but not offering persisting bitterness, rather it is the weird curry-like, softly spicy character which lingers. Unusual and already a bit oxidized, but not necessarily unpleasant.
