Flying Scotsman is a sophisticated full flavoured premium bitter beer combining the best barley from the north and robust southern hops. Profoundly malty in aroma but balanced with hints of raisiny spiciness and toasty dryness. Fresh, slightly citrus tang with a rich rounded finish.

500ml bottle - pours a nice chestnut brown with a white head, a lovely malty aroma, with a fruity nose there too. A bit spicy, with a decent mouthfeel, and a citrusy bitter after taste. Not bad this one.

500ml bottle with a large head. Pours dark amber with a large head. Aroma is coffee with boiled sweets malt. Taste has dark fruity malt, hint of Ribena and a little coffee on the finish.
