@ rampkrot, shared by frank . pours yellow, almost no foam . smell is a bit medicinal . hoppy, bitter , bit medicinal again in the taste. not convinced at all. what kinds of hops are in this ? ( iof anyone knows ? ) is it in my mind or so i realy hate the taste of german beers? always rated IPA’s above what i think is a mediocer beer ( 3,5 in my ratings ) but this is going under it ...

Nicely executed IPA from Bavaria. Nice sharp but smooth hoppy aroma and taste, perfect mouthfeel and lingering bitterness on the lips and palate. Hops blend perfectl with the brew, not overpowering.

50cl bottle courtesy of Bartlebier @ Post Toer de Geuze tasting. BB 07-07-2013.

22/IV/13 - 33cl bottle @ Rampkrot (Deurne) - BB: 7/VII/13 (2013-360) Thanks to Bartlebier for sharing the bottle!

Little cloudy light orange beer, small irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit funky, some exotic fruits, grains, cow fodder, sweet, some citrus. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter hops, lots of citrus, some grains, wheat, herbal spiciness. Aftertaste: some grapefruit, grassy, bitter hops, little sour, grains, sweet malty touch, sugary almost. Not bad, but still more of an impression rather than a real IPA.

Thx! to Barbtlebier. BBF 07/07/2013. 50 cl. bottle. Orange, golden, some amber, little white head. Lightly sweet malts, light milky base with some lightly fruity hop profile, light spices, light bitter hops,… Taste is reasonably bitter hops, floral, strong spices, plaster, almost lactic malts, chunky yeast, some oldness creping in, light booze in the back, near banana hint sweet hint white grapes,,… Body is a bit full, bit different, agreeable fare, not too bad.

Nice looking swing top 50cl bottle pours with a slightly hazy copper body with gold hues and supporting a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up some yeastiness and mineral notes for a brief moment before malt sweetened mango and cantaloupe take over with a slight resiny pine note in the background. The taste is like drinking a cup of malt sweetened mango and grapefruit juice. Behind juicy hop flavor notes is a bit of resiny hop bitterness that seems a little pine like and than a light mineral and yeasty note. Pretty darn rich and tasty IPA.
