Our interpretation of a Belgian-style wheat beer is brewed with oats, malted wheat, and unmalted raw wheat for a hazy, “white” appearance. Spiced with our own special blend of coriander and Curaçao orange peel, Allagash White is both complex and refreshing. Though it’s brewed in Maine, the recipe sticks to its Belgian roots.

Bottled. A pretty decent witte, poured a cloudy yellow with a citrusy nose. Finish is a bit spicy and clean.

Pours hazy yellow with a bif fluffy head. Aroma is citrus, coriander and soap. Dry and yeasty flavour with coriander and citrus. True to the style. Far from my favourite beer style.

Bottle. Cloudy gold with a huge head. Aroma is clove, spicy. Taste spicy with hints of citrus.

I really loved this beer, easily my favorite belgian Wit. Great aroma of citrus, and yeast, with some nice banaesque esters. The mouthfeel is almost buttery with a slight caramel flavour that goe sso well with the citrus, and yeast flavours. Wow, just a lovely balance.

Old rating from 2017 - 355ml bottle brought back from NYC. Pours light yellow colour with a white head. Aromas & tastes of citrus, pear, plum, spice, flora, grass & hops. Moderate body. Crisp finish
