Appearance: Pitch black color with a small beige head that leaves some lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate, roasted malt, mild fruity and coffee.
Palate: Medium to full body. Tad sweet, and a fine bitterness. Average to soft carbonation. Semi dry texture.
Taste: Balanced and nice chocolate, roasted malt, fruity (plum) and coffee.
Overall impression: Lovely balanced and tasty stout!
Personal stats: Bottle from a trade with RobertDale
My first from Minnesota and I gladly have some more. US State #35

Tap at Lyndale Tap House. Dry and moderately well hopped. It has that foreign/ tropical stoit quality that is hard to find in the states. Some coffee and roasted malt. Good.

12oz bottle poured into a 6oz nonic glass. Medium thick head that never ever fades, opaque black body. Aroma is hops and bitter malts. Hops are fruity, some slightly sweet malts, some cocoa, and a bitter black patent aroma. Flavor is sweet fruity hops with a bit of sugary malts covering up the bitterness. Well mixed. A medium body with a tingling carbonation leading to a spritzy finish. A nice meld of hops and stout, that is well attenuated but not overattenuated. Better than the other bigger stout I had tonight.

12oz bottle. Opaque black-brown body. Nice, steady deep rusty beige head. A very nice Foreign Stout, but sharing attributes of Imperial Stout in the rich malty sweetness, and with Black IPA, with the minty fresh hoppiness and syrupy specialty malt. Really clean, quite a pleasant surprise from Summit and the gang. Well done.
